LOUIS CHAIR Based on the classic Louis XVI chairs of the French late 1700’s, these dining chairs feature all the details one would expect of silouettes of this period, while keeping the carvings clean and updated. Made of Beech, fluted legs raise a carved seat and back rail with scrolling arms. Our version of this chair can be ordered with a plain upholstered back, or one can select one of four back inserts to customize the piece ever further. Choose from a quatrefoil tracery back, a circle inside a square regency back, a stylized diamond back, or classic Chippendale fretwork back.
